yeah iv heard it brings out the color in your FH apossed to dark colored background and substraight.
Yeah, FH's love bright background's and a bright environment. Everything that I have read leans towards if you have your FH with dark substrate, decor, and background their color will wash out and become faded.
I would breed FH with FH and then cull the fry down to like the top ten or so when they reach a decent size to see their potential. Have you thought about how much room you'll need to get the fry that large, to be able to determin value if any? I'm only asking this because I intend to try to breed some Fh's in the future and have realized how much $$$ can be spent just on raising the fry.

you go girl. go for it. good luck. and keep an eye out to see how they react to each other. a lil lip locking will happen but that is normal
Oh and everything i have in her tank is ridiculously bright haha.
