Just a quik question..... what's an average pumps watt usage don't want to use one that uses a lot of energy I got two little giant inline not sumergible pumps...I wanted sumergable but got one for 20 bucck the othe for 39...I will be using one for the 85 gallon and buying a submergible for the 200 gallon...I tested the little pump with the 85 today it was perfect for it..but it said 115 wattts I believe is that a lot??

well i been working on my other projects....tomorrow i glue the background to the tank.....i need to buy tubes of silicon....well i been so busy i finally got one of my projects running..i know this has nothing to do with my tank but i was so happy i wanted to share with everyone...its my mustang with a paxton2000 had it sitting for about 5 years almost full resto......turn it on today sounds good valves are kind of loud have to adjust them....well hopefully i wont get in trouble...lol[YT]S2p5kWsqYmg[/YT]

Any updates on the background?

Good luck with the car. Paxton is definitely a great setup, I had one on my '98 5.9L Ram. talk about a truck that could hurt some feelings at a red light. Then it would hurt my feelings when i went to fill up the gas tank... Wish i never got rid of that thing though...

Well sorry about your truck...I still regret selling my first car......well as my background..I glued it two days ago I was going to water test it with the overflows....since I haven't done together...but when I opened the top of my canopy I kind of smell the silicon still..so my thinking is that is not dried yet...I will wait another few days maybe a week to make sure it completely dry I won't be puttinng fish in it for awhile but I want to have evverything ready....I'm thinkng a week to dry ...I did use like 5 tubes to glue it..

Here how my tank looks with water and you can see my overflows the center piece overhang is not on at the moment...need some sand n fish better lighting.. looks boring but its a start..

Anyone??? Have something to say bout my overflows? Good or bad its cool u won't hurt ny feelings...lol

Looks like it flows real well. The only thing I'd be concerned with is the size of the drain holes around the tube. If they ever get blocked by debris floating pellets bacteria slim building up closing off any of the hole can slow the return water and overflow the tank. I think upward slots work better and are not sealed off above it. If anything blocks it it allows the water level to just rise and continue to drain or flow over the top if the slots get completely blocked.

The background looks real good. Awesome job!
