My First Cichla!!!!!!! **PIC LOAD**

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
thx 2 everyone else. I'll keep updating every inch or so of growth or if there's a significant event. what's the best temp when they're this size? I have them by themselves so I'm not worried about other fish.

87 degrees should be enough to keep whitespot away, remember when running temps this high in tanks to keep up the oxygen..

how have you had them and how long have you been keeping cichla>?

Glad to see another Cichla keeper! Absolutely one of the best monster fish. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

This is extremely true and you can add me in on the enjoyment part :D

Hey all PWMIN is a personal friend of mine. And yes Sabatoge they are the smallest Cichla I have ever seen. I do believe there both Tem's but as we all know around here time will tell. They are so small I think that newly born guppies come out bigger. But they both look healthy and I know Paul will take care of them. Welcome to the addiction bro. I know your going to love it.

IDK how to do multiple quotes, so I'll try to address everything.

I have an AC70 and Penguin 350 on the 40, so the oxy should be good enough, but I'll run an airstone or two also.

wurm, I'm already enjoying them a ton

boosten, as it says in the title, they're my first :D (i think that was directed towards me) and i haven't even had them for a week.

they ate some tiny rosies last night. i couldn't find an "sea monkeys"
