My first Cichla...what type is it?

IDK my assumed LA boys appear to be Monos and there eyes are shinning bright like a RED LIGHT! So this may not be a safe Identifier. Also that whole hybrid thing comes back into play. But I belive only time will tell with all of our younger P's. And I don't really see any red in the eye's of these cichla.
Here's some new pics after he's settled in. he looks a lot better and i swear he's grown already! this guy is absolute pig and makes a mess everytime i feed him.
