try throwing extra lights on top of the tank for taking pics. it will help out a lot until you get the speedlight.

do you shoot in jpeg or raw?

Yeah I know, the auto-WB was way off, so I tried setting it myself, and made it a little better, but I got tired of fooling with it, so I just left it like that. And I shoot in jpeg. (raw takes up way too much memory, and I'm only using a 4gb SD)

Thanks for the advice, but I don't have any extra lights to put on there (or any extra outlet space), so I think I'll just wait until I can get the speedlight.
