  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also, here is the picture of the parts again. The overflow in the center is assembled but the outer one is not... sort of an 'exploded view'.

uh oh lol i bought two cans of cement and no cleaner. I thought cleaner meant like to clean the cement off lol. aww man back to lowes lol its so far away too

another thing thats weird is. the hd and lowes here has no eggcrates! its crazy! they have never seriously heard about it before. I even showed them what it was supposed to look like by pointing at the cieling cuz their lights in the buildings had metallike eggcrates. This is for a divider that i need.

How can i take apart pieces of tightly stuck pvc? Remember when i cut some of the white pipe to make it smaller and then attached a coupler to it? well, now its stuck together and its ridiculous to take them apart. I wanna use the bottom part though. What should i use?

THis is how i broke it in the first place lol I was trying to take apart the pieces and they wouldnt so i started smashing the pipe into things so it could come off lol

Well, I finally got to lowes and bought some stuff. Except there were a bunch of cleaners and stuff so just to be safe and not have to go back i bought 2 of em. here they are. What am i supposed to do with em?

Use the primer OR cleaner. Both at the same time aren't needed.
Clean/prime just enough area on the pipe to cover what the fitting needs to attach to the pipe, and clean/prime the inside of the fitting as well.
Let dry about half a minute
Apply cement in a light coat around the entire circumference of either the pipe outside, or the fitting inside. Assemble the joint ~1/4"-1/2" off of where you want it (use a sharpie to make alignment marks), push together and twist to desired position quickly.
30 seconds to a minute later, a gorilla can't take it apart.
Repeat as needed. :) :)

P.S.
Unless you plan to paint with fusion or something, use the clear cleaner, as the purple primer will stain the pvc anywhere it contacts.
If you worry about looks like me that is. :D :D

So i use the cleaner first on the outside of the pipe and the inside of attachment and the apply the cement on top of that?

Glue and cleaner will be dripping everywhere, so be prepared. Use the cleaner on the surfaces that will be glued. And glue both surfaces if you don't want it to leak. Then cram them together, and then give them a twist if they aren't instantly locked. Hold them together for about 5-10 seconds because sometimes they will come apart.
