your right its CLS,the 5 fters are the same it just looks smaller in the pics.before i fill them up do u think its big enough to hold??and your right its only £1.98 for a 2.4m length if u buy 5 or more!!!!

Give us some more pics of those stands, cos the pics so far don't show 'em that well to tell, but it LOOKS ok!

no probs mate, and i never did mate but i did put some visqueen under to stop the damp coming through? i dont know if it helps tho??at least i know for the future lol, will learn by my mistakes:(i suppose if it really affects me i could put a wooden floor in with tanalised joists with poly underneath;)

Visqueen will do the trick for damp proofing....
As long as your walls and ceiling have good insulation, you should be ok. Extra insulation at this stage will save a lot on your electrical bills over time, it just a trade off in how much you want to spend NOW as opposed to the eventual running costs. I don't know how much you've already put in so I can't say much more at this stage.
We use Poly under the concrete when we're pouring the slab for houses - the concrete never gets cold after that and some kind of floor insulation does make a difference to the overall warmth in the room as it prevents cold seeping UP through the floor - important in wintertime!

thanks for the tip, never thought of that:screwy:i think its too late now because the are tight down to the ground:(im either going to varnish the racks or gloss them white, varnish will be quicker but i think gloss would look better:confused:willl have to think about it

I went down the white gloss route for the stand below and I think it looks great, and is a good waterproofer. Brightens up the space too. More details here....
