My flowerhorn has a swollen lip?

Use Table Salt for now...Make sure it doesn't have that ingredient..

I CANNOT add salt. At all. I have some but I can't add any to this tank.

I have a species of crayfish which is very sensitive to salt and even a little bit will kill her. Plus she has eggs right now which are even more sensitive to salt.

I could move him to my big tank but I wouldn't have enough salt for the whole tank. And if I moved him to my 20 gallon he would kill my young africans. ( it's a grow out tank) =/

Could you move the crayfish to another tank? I know her eggs are in a fragile state right now but you might have to choose which is more important.

Same problem. She would be killed in my big tank and she might kill some of the fry/juvies in my 20. AHH!!! =/
