My flowerhorn has a swollen lip?

i don't think simply salting the tank is gonna cut it for duck lips anyways . IF thats what your dealing with ,you would need a big water change and some meds like metro or something . and then your'e still lucky if he makes it .

u gotta decide which is more important to you the fh or the crayfish if its ducklips your fh chances or making through it are extremely low without treatment

What meds should I use? I'll go to the LFS tomorrow and pick them up. I'll move my crayfish to my twenty gallon tomorrow as well. I just did a 50% water change which I do every 3-4 days.

I believe the link I gave you stated something about Methylene Blue?

Methylene blue is the proper name. No doubt it would have a brand name.

i've never personally treated duck lips , but i've read about others having some success with metro . if i were you i'd do some research

Can anyone post a pic of duck lips? I have looked around but haven't had much luck confirming if this is duck lips or not.

Doesn't really look like that. His bottom lip just sticks out. I think it might be from attacking the glass. He can see his reflection in the glass and attacks it constantly.
