My flowerhorn has a swollen lip?

i was just reading that duck lips is basically a pimple and that you can stab the lip with a needle and squeeze the puss out. Sounds kind of stupid to me what do you guys think? I pulled him out to look at the lip and noticed he has some pretty big teeth for his mouth and it does kind of look like a pimple on his lip.

OR this method;
"firmly hold the fish in my hand (if the fish is to big hold with the net) ... then I pour a dash of Hydrogen peroxide (antiseptic) over the fish’s mouth (top of mouth)... dip the fish's head back in the water... pour HP again (on the sides of the mouth)... then I release the fish back into the water.".
 
I have a black background so he sees his reflection in it and attacks it a lot. I moved my crayfish ( which has like 200 babies clinging to her hurray!) and medicated the tank just in case. I'm going out and will do a water change tonight or tomorrow morning because I used a little more than usual due to me dropping the bottle lol.
 
Might be but I medicated just in case. I never realized how big his teeth were. When I was looking at his lip it surprised me. They are huge for his tiny mouth.
 
Randomly medicating a tank without knowing the disease is pretty bad. If you could post some pics, It could you some time.

Yes I read it, don't get smart with me. If it really is duck lip, your fish is good as gone, so I'm trying to help you out. Any picture is better than no picture.
