This is not WTT. As i explained to u before. WTT is about making the surroundings whiter with bright lights on a white background. Think abt it this way, when u shine white light on white paper, doesn't it look whiter? In a clear tank, u are doing neither, the creamy white wall behind the tank is not doing anything at all. Ideally, it should be white 5 sided, which is why most young aros are raised in white fgts rather then tanks. Ideally, at this age u want to keep it in a much bigger tank too as this is their fastest growing stage. Small tanks limits their growth. They will grow length until abt 12" then start to put on height. This happens within 6 mths. Also, for aros as young as urs, they are usually kept with low water lvl to avoid "drop tail" which is a common problem when small aros are kept in a high dept of water.
Regarding hiding in the corner, its quite common for aros which are uncomfortable with their surroundings. Aros normally swim round and round all the time once stable.
