The L144's being sold all over are a variant of the common BN..... so albino, brown, calico, green dragon, and L144 are all the same basic fish. So when you breed a L144 and a albino together it doesn't surprise me that what comes out is regular brown BN's....... some may even have the blue eyes or produce albino or L144 fry when they get bigger. I'm not 100% sure how it works but this is why it is best to know where your fish come from and breed same (L144 with L144 or calico with calico and ect)..... I've seen where some people put a calico with albino or other combination and you just don't know what they will put out.... or what their fry will put out for sure.

lol, thnx all purchased from same LFS , under same name and price. I didn't know the eye color would make such determination.
