You should try some shrimp or krill. The beta carotene and vitamins in the shell should color him up nicely.

Hey guys. He ate another worm today almost instantly. Also I bought 5 ghost shrimp and the smallest crawdad I could find. Time for some fun.

He should have totally annihlated that, fresh meat..

No The stupid crawdad is still alive. I starved the bass for a couple of days but all he did was nip at the crawdad a bunch. It's just a little too big for him but as he grows his new tank mate will become lunch. On the other hand he totally annihilated the ghost shrimps.

Yeah i say that crawdad has its days numbered, as fast as your bass ate those ghost shrimp i want be surprised if it nick-picks at the crawdad until its dead, nice looking bass!! Nice clear set-up also.

ive been reading through all of this and i know your lmb is still small, but im surprised nobody has mentioned anything about dropping a live mouse in. go to youtube and search for " bass eating mouse" and a ton of videos will come up
