I just wanted to throw out there that I'm using a garbage picked 80 watt twin t12 light strip. Someone just through it away. The light strip was free, and the 6500k bulbs were 8 dollars from HomeDepot.

Well, I got some disappointing news. My two darters showed up DOA today from Jonahs. Called them right away and took several pictures. Everything was very professionally packaged and the water temped and looked fine. Very puzzled as well as Mark @ Jonah's is.

My vote is for Green Sunfish if you can get them in your area. They love the warmer water temp and are a good looking, colorful fish.

I added a couple pieces of petrified wood. Still want some different color plants, but no one locally sells the stuff. Pics coming tomorrow, maybe with my SLR camera this tine.

Since Im getting a pair of rainbow darters, should I add a power head of some kind to increase current and perhaps build a riffle?

Yeah try to have it aimed or at the bottom level of the tank. Darters spend most their time at the bottom.

Ive added petrified wood, any other rocks you guys think would look nice? I wanna create caves for these guys...
