I'd just get an aqueon 750-950 circulation pump and have it on the side of the tank so it simulates a river/stream current... Or get two and aim them slightly askew of eachother so there is a larger coverage area of current. Your tank looks good so far, by the way.
 
So I grabbed an Aqueon 700 circulation pump from petco. With looking at the first picture, where do you guys think I should put it without it looking crappy? I dont want it to stick out like a sore thumb.
 
Rainbow darters don't need current at all as the lake populations of Rainbow darters do exists.
 
Is the 700 that I got going to be too much? I dont want to blow gravel or rip out my plants, lol.
