  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Not sure if the inconsistent swimming is due to stress or the wavemaker....

But overall looks not too bad

Don't have too worry so much... arowana is much tougher than most people gives it credit for

Hey bro,

Yes you are right inconsistent swimming is due to a wave maker placed on the side. When I switch off the wavermaker and sump during feeding time he seems to swimming fine. The flow is not too strong as it looks. I just finished feeding and this counts as 2 days of traveling 2 days of in the tank (total 4 days) without food.

How long they can survive without food bro? Will he last another week or more without food? The shopkeeper told me he was feed before he shipped him.

Regards,
Additya

There have been forumers mentioning their adult arowana fast as long as 4- 6 months

My own experience when my bbxb aro was about 8 inches thereabouts... he fasted for 2 weeks... during these 2 weeks he only ate like 2 -3 small cut pieces of market shrimp and ignore frogs

Just continue feeding.. I am sure he will come good... don't worry

Hey bro,

Thank you so much for reassurance, the comforting words and advise. Really really appreciate it. I am starting feeling positive now that he will be fine. Thank you again.

As G Galantspeedz said.. at least she is showing interest in eating which shows she is ok.
It shows she is willing to eat but, some arowanas can be full of nonsense and spit out the food they dont like.... you just have to keep trying

My baby Chilli Red took 3 weeks to start eating so they are tough in that respect

I know that this is not easy and some people dont believe it but i have always found with any animal or fish, your stress and panic does influence them so just try relax a little and it will help you a lot.

Trust us she will be ok..

Bro Additya did you buy the aro from aquamist global ?? Be careful they are the no. 1 cheaters of India. Just my 2 cents.

There are many cases of him revolving around fb and also in our watsapp group also there was a guy who bought a super red Arowana from him for Rs 45000 and later that arowana turned out to be banjar red and also there was another guy who brought a golden crossback but later turned out with no shine at all just a simple green aro. From the victims what i incurred is that he buys cheap arowanas from other sellers and sell them with a fake certificate. Bro, see all I am trying to do is to give you my two cents it's your money you will buy from him or not that is upto you. We Indians have a watsapp group for arowanas which includes many of those victims and any way this is just my 2 cents so suggestion will be not to get disheartened and enjoy your aro.

Cheers
