And now why don't you be so kind as to logically answer this question plus what was so bad about my post that led to Fishflyer's response?

Can't people offer alternative ways without others taking personal offense?? If you only want to hear Fishflyer's opinions, and are going to take offense when others try to contribute and nicely suggest different ways to think about things, why even make a PUBLIC post at all lol, just PM (and coddle) each other all you want for goodness sake.

I was open to your ideas but when you present them with insults and calling me a flake that is not going to ellicite a friendly response. There is nothing coodling about friends sticking up for each other.

Probably a good idea, because you and your buddy Fishflyer have turned this thread into an absolute joke lol -- Besides calling people petty names, making homophobic references and trying to run people off just because you personally don't like them or disagree with what they're saying, which is laughable in itself, let me make a point that has become painfully obvious:
RD pretty much corroborated the same things that I said regarding both feeding raw terrestrial based plants to fish, esp. FH's, and also pre-soaking pellets -- and lol there's Fishflyer thanking him and saying he'll pass on the info to his friends, and you likewise complimenting him -- yet for some reason you guys overreact to my saying pretty much the same things, in a similar tone and without any disrespect intended, as being out of hand and trying to insult or make Fishflyer feel inferior -- go figure lol.

I mean to be sure RD knows 1000 times more than I will ever know about fish keeping and I love him like an Uncle as much as anyone on this site, but that's just ridiculous behavior on your part and exposes some other personal agenda you and Fishflyer must be sharing. Imo I'd say you both owe me an apology but very much doubt one will be forthcoming and certainly won't hold my breath.

But why did I really make my first comments about pre-soaking pellets and feeding terrestrial based plants? Mainly because I'd prefer that newer Flowerhorn keepers who might come along and read this thread afterwards not take suggestions to the contrary as being the best care for their fish -- in fact instead of taking time buying, cleaning and cutting up raw veggies, not to mention running around fields collecting dandelions, I'd suggest newer FH keepers to consider spending more time on water changes and saving money for a bigger tank.

And you think calling me out by saying: "Your phraseology suggests my fishkeeping is inferior Sir. I resent the implication." is going to to elicit a friendly response from me?? Why didn't you just respond to me the same way you did RD?? FACT: I didn't start insulting anyone until after your contrite quotation just given. So blame yourself for any unfriendly responses afterwards, not me. And yes, nothing wrong with friends sticking up for each other, another example of your hypocrisy is trying to run off my friend who stuck up for me -- but I guess it's ok because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Please re-read my original post -- nowhere does it say one should never pre-soak food -- I simply mentioned one needs to be careful about how much soaking they're doing. That's all.

Finally I didn't call you a flake -- don't you know what a "Snowflake" is? If not plz google the term, because there's a very substantial difference between the 2 words and their usage. And while it's true your generation normally is not associated with this condition, in my book if it walks like a duck....

I never said anything bad about you. Why would you have cause to insult me. Guilt by association of my friend. I have a friendship with @j.witty not a bromance and you sound like you are being insulting, about my age. I am told I don't look 60, have curly brown hair--no grey yet not that there is anything wrong with that. I always kept in shape. Youthful genetics in the family. Sometimes 60 doesn't look, act or move like 60. But nothing with 60. I worked with a lady volunteer that was 87 and moved as fast as us " young kids" did not look 87 and moving and working fast. Super Grandma Wow. Acted young too.

Well it’s a good thing you aren’t holding your breath. The last thing you deserve is an apology. Same goes with the other guy. I see that you seem to make it your mission to run people out of this forum. This isn’t the first fight I’ve seen you in on this forum and I know it won’t be the last sadly. Oh well it is just a forum. Not like anything on here is gonna do anything anyway.

I've had 2 or 3 'fights' on MFK in the approx. year and a half I've been on here, and both were in the last few days and both by people who tried to stick a fork in me simply for offering my opinions or contributions. How would you feel in those situations? Happy that you gave your time and sometime threw it back in your face?

And besides these I have offered assistance to many many people on MFK as I can, none of whom besides you, Fishflyer and some disrespectful punk on the Super Red FH thread have ever treated me this way. If you think it's my mission to run people off of MFK you're sadly disillusioned and jumping to huge assumptions without really knowing me (something you admonished me for doing earlier). I will however stand up for my right to express my opinions, even if people like you can't handle it.

BTW, I'm STILL waiting on an answer from you and Fishflyer why the difference in response to my and RD's conclusions regarding the 2 questions at hand....

If somebody “stuck a fork in me” for trying to give advise I’d simply leave and not care for what that person wants. I can handle your opinion. I just don’t read it lol. But you care so deeply about people’s problems on here that you gotta keep coming back to make sure they are ok. You are a stand up man.
