i agree completely ive had them before theyre great little fish however they will need a little salt in there but thats all theyre not really picky and they live a long time.
Aquarium salt, not marine salt.

haha you've really one for this puffer... would it live in a lightly salted 20g comm tank?
What do you mean by "lightly salted"? Most puffers aren't comm fish.

Do you mean a DP or a GSP?

In a 3.5 gallon i would go with one they need alot of decorations to feal comfertible they like live plants you might be able to get away with a group of 2-3 the problem is there Bio load Puffers make alot of waste and need very clean water there very sensative to nitrates nitrites and ammonia but with alot of live plants to help with water quality you might be able to get away with 2 or 3 but usually its recomended that you give them 5 gallons for each puffer so some will say not even one will be okay in a 3 gallon

If you do get a group make sure that they are sexed DON'T get two males they will fight to the death get 1 male and the rest females

Killerfish knows what he's talking about. DPs are complete brackish and need 5 Gallons per puffer IMO.

where can i find some Corydoras pygmaeus? im thinking like 3-4 of those and a couple glo-fish..

even though it maybe overstocked, it will be overfiltered

I don't know much about the little tropicals (except Bettas) so I honestly don't know how big 'glo-fish' get. Are they the dyed Neons? (I don't know).
As far as finding Pygmy Corys-welcome to the world of fish :-) You'll just have to call around to different fish shops.

hahaha my bad sorry guys! i was mixing up a DP with a GSP in my head lolz my bad. yeah definitely NOT a GSP.
so a DP would do well in a comm tank?

a "glo-fish" is simply just a zebra danio that has been geneticly enhanced by an enninemy (wrong spelling) to give it its bright colors that glow in the dark as well
max size is 3" but by then i will have already moved them into my 55gal

and dont forget!! the glo-fish is copy-righted by walmart!

It's been done before (I do it myself), but DPs are not suggested for community tanks.

lol i did see them in wal-mart today..you know even though they have the worst fish section, i still have to pass through:grinno:

Even pygmy cories don't deserve such a tiny tank, why not take out the filter ad mabe turn it into an intersting paludarium.

Zebra Danios are mean little things lol! This is just my opinion but I think Danios are going to outgrow a 3 gal tank in about...a week? :-) If you've got a 55 g already go ahead and put the Danios (glo-fish) in there.
Arachnar was posting the same time as me so I didn't see it til afterwards. But I do agree. All Corys are such awesome little 'worker bees' and even the tiny ones really do deserve a tank bigger than 3 gal. What about some bright red Cherry Shrimp? Those are tons of fun to watch.
