MY NEW MINI MONSTER

I just picked up my new TSN yesterday and he's already chowing down. He was super skinny until i got him home. Now he's fattened up pretty good.

Does anyone know if there's anything wrong with his gills??? There's some redness there and i have no idea what it is. I didn't notice it until i got him home.

I think taht the Redness is just some colouration.

the redness under the skin is the actuall gills if im correct...i dunno if thats correct but all fish have the red im pretty sure i know my lima shovelnose has it

He's on feeders to faten him up then to pellets, he was a stck when i got him. I think he's grown already.LOL... No-one in the petstore even knew what he was eating and i've been checking him out in there for like 3 weeks!!!! Damn shame!!!
