umm i got a TSN too . 1.5 inch. n yh the redness is der. at first it startled me too . but i realized it might be the gills. hes currently in my 7 Gallons. The Gars takin up the 15 G. step dad said hed get me a 6Ft tank. so im guess 200 Gallons. i feel sorry for the tsn . i know he wont like in der. hes in with a common pleco , a molly , a blue zebra n a dwarf gourami. the thing is i felt sorry for him in the lfs too. he was all alone . in a packed tank like a 4 Gal with Pictus n butterfish or sumfin. neways i tot i did a gd thing. lets pray he gest the 6ft soon. neways he wont eat wen i giv him anchovies with my hand. so i jus kept it on the gravel , then in the mornin. voila gone. n hes got a nice tummy. as hbluehunter said he was damn skinny.

sigh giv me a break guys. how many times do i have to tell u . its not for life. im gettin a bigger tank. n the gars on sale. so it wont be long till hes out. always lookin for an excuse to flame huh guys

my little tsn was on feeders at my lfs but I went and got market shrimp and the first time I offered them to him he gladly accepted it and has not stopped yet.They are also a hell of a lot cheaper.

shrimp, krill, and bloodworms all the way for small tsn. I never feed mine feeders anymore. I will however on ocassion catch some perch and after a quarantine for a few weeks I will throw them in. They are predators and I feel that the bigger fish deserve to put their skills to the test make their lives in a tank a little more bearable. lol.
