MY NEW MINI MONSTER

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was the same way with this one, i looked at him for weeks until i finally couldn't fight it... He's cool as hell i can't wait until hes bigger to go into my big tank. Right now he'd get eaten by my jardini or my 16"lima. Little guy has a long way to go !!!!

redness is normal it will go away when he settles in . Nice little guy!

Thanks for the info, he's still doing well and eating like a champ, can't wait to get him in my big tank.

umm i got a TSN too . 1.5 inch. n yh the redness is der. at first it startled me too . but i realized it might be the gills. hes currently in my 7 Gallons. The Gars takin up the 15 G. step dad said hed get me a 6Ft tank. so im guess 200 Gallons. i feel sorry for the tsn . i know he wont like in der. hes in with a common pleco , a molly , a blue zebra n a dwarf gourami. the thing is i felt sorry for him in the lfs too. he was all alone . in a packed tank like a 4 Gal with Pictus n butterfish or sumfin. neways i tot i did a gd thing. lets pray he gest the 6ft soon. neways he wont eat wen i giv him anchovies with my hand. so i jus kept it on the gravel , then in the mornin. voila gone. n hes got a nice tummy. as hbluehunter said he was damn skinny.

He's on feeders to faten him up then to pellets..quote]
easier said then done, i was working alot this past month and my bro was taking care of my fish... he fed my TSN a couple feeders a week and now he will not take pellets unless he hasn't eaten for a couple of days... the pellets will just sit at the bottom, until my RTC gets it. i'm trying to get him back to pellets only!! doubt it but it's worth a try.

i'm going to try and get him on pellets soon, he might still be too small for starving him. The only reason i went with feeders to start is because the lfs said they were feeding him guppies.

same here but they won't starve themselves!! you can skip a meal one day and try pellets they'll be more thatn happy to take pellets...(In most cases)
how big is the guy? try the hikari sinking carnivore pellets. they can't resist them!!:D

He's probably 5 inches or so, yea i'll try the Hikari i've heard those are the best.

mine wont eat pellets lol he refuses to eat them lol. so i give in and give him guppies and ghost shrimp. but lately he has taken a likening to my german blue rams, lol but i dont really care for them anyways so oh well.
