Got to watch feeding that freeze dried krill, as a staple it can cause digestive problems leading to protruding anus. Best to feed just once or twice weekly.

You could try breaking the FD krill into small pieces and then adding the crushed pellets to that.
oh wow i didnt know that thanks for the info yeah i really want to get him on pellets then cuz right now the fd krill is all i have to feed him so i want to get him on pellets asap when you crush up the pellets and put it in with the krill you just put it all together at the same time and hope they eat bits of pellets with it or what? sorry for all the questions btw hahah

Yeah I've grown out a half dozen baby silvers and blacks using the FDBW and crushed pellet method.

Your choice, I would just offer the pellets for a few days and see.

okay thats great to hear he has been mouthing them for the past couple of days but today was the longest he had the pellet in his mouth and the bass has even put one in his mouth so im relieved to hear that they most likely will be eating pellets soon

oh yeah and btw could anyone tell me im thinking about getting a small oscar for my tank what do you think would this be okay? i love oscars and see them with aros and pbass all the time can anyone tell me if this would be okay or not asap because if i get it i will probably be getting it tomorrow unless someone objects haha

Personally I don't recommend any cichlids until the arowana is 10-11" and then the cichlid should only be half the length of the aro.
