My new tank (first real MONSTER)

I know exactly what tank you bought. I remember seeing it last time i was there. I can imagine how big the tank is they had to buy for that shark because he was big! From what i remember the tank is huge and looks awesome in person. Do they have the new shark tank setup?

They have a new setup but no more shark. They gave the shark to the bowlingbrook,IL store. From what I am told they setup a 2000+gal. saltwater setup and the shark got donated to them b/c they can house him better. But the new setup the columbus store got is a HUGE 900gal.(with filtration) all glass monster. It's still salt just not with that shark your talking of.

LOL I didn't see the buckets. No the basement doesn't flood. I get them from work for free. They are used to store big glue sticks in and when they are empty They throw them away. so I just take them whenever one empties on my shift. I can allways find a use for a bucket and it's on less thing in the dump

that kind of stinks for me haha i wanted to see him again he is pretty neat. at least he got a bigger tank where he will be happier in. good luck with your new tank.

LOL I wish I did! Thats the dream gun. I allready told my G/F that if they ever try to put a ban on the 50cal that I WILL take out a loan and buy gun in my avatar. untill then Ill just stick with my AR

but wouldn't a ray outgrow it??

i would do 2 aro's, a couple pbass, dats, and that Knife
if you can fit rays in it for life, deffinately do it!

From what I have read the only ray that would have a shot at outgrowning it would maybe be a motoro (sp) But they say they can get discs up to 36" But I have never heard of one that big in the home aquarium. I have talked to one of the vendors about getting rays and he said with the tank being 36" wide. That a motoro would work out fine. As for the aro I don't think ill get one But I am not sure yet. I have a little time to get my stockist compiled.

The only thing that I feel is a must is at least one ray.

Started the BIG job of cleaning the salt creep today. I sent about 45min and only got about 25% done. This thing is going to take forever to clean and I hate smelling like vinager. But it's what I have to do. Ill post some more pics when I get it clean later this week

I got more cleaning done today. I got about 90% of the panels clean and the first round done on the top supports. the only thing that I am having problems with is the stupid overflow box. It's caked in algea and salt. I am real close to taking a scraper to it. It just plane looks bad right now. but everything else is going fine.

This weekend I hope to go get my shop lights and some new stain so I can refinish the rim of the tank.
