Hey guys, just came home today after a week in mammoth. Yep, left last sunday with the family (father supposedly going back the next day). All was fine and dandy until my dad said he was staying... This = bad. I didn't leave any automatic feeder or "vacation" food supply because I was expecting my dad to be back the next night. Annnnd you can guess what happened. My heart broke, I went to sleep that night feeling like a murderer. I had doomed my fish. I came home today and found the most gruesome thing in my life, my koi was on the floor dried up like an anchovy. But I didn't realize this until I was asking my dad over the phone if he threw out the fish because my tank was empty and just when he said no, I looked on the ground and screamed like a girl. =0. Embarrassing I know. Amazingly my betta and cory are okay, just a little shooken up. Do you think my tank is fine, if I could put in fish, or did the death of that fish throw off the entire nitrogen cycle?
