butterball! haha, i hope mine gets that big one day, maybe if he would stop swimming around so much he could maintain some fat.
Post pics of your ornate. If it's doing fine and eating well, then don't do anything by adding chemical or whatever. You might end up killing your fish. Just let it get use to the tank. What substrates are you using right now? Feeding it with guppies is fine as long as the guppies are healthy.
Senegal, its my first one and i got him at wal mart back in december. i'd like to eventually get more of the exotic ones, but for now i'm seeing how well i can take care of kevin bacon, as i call him.
