Loach has small white patch on tail from incredible recovery from super fungus i rescued him from pets at home (UK pets mart) he was nearly a gonner

I am pretty new to keeping fish and I've had the same problem with a bunch of my fish looking faded from time to time , could it be bacterial infections from not vacuuming the bottom enough?
