My outdoor cat tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
really? i suck then, thank you for the pointer. for the third year in a row now at about this time "he" and my convict pair of and cruise all over together, the rest of the year my convict terrorizes my JD. maybe my convict is a female? or their just odd balls...pics pending, went to my lfs yesterday looking for water lettuce (which they were all out of) and couldn't help but walk away with 2 6-7" channel catfish. have them housed in the upper tank right now, planning on growing them out in there first then transitioning to the big tank.

any suggestions on easy low light plants that would enjoy this "environment", it receives direct sunlight for approx 3-4 hrs per day

Hey, would you be interested in a firewood catfish? I'm thinking of selling mine cause my arowana is not playing nice with him. He's about 12"-13" and is pellet trained. I think he would do great in your tank. Anyways, let me know, I'm in Cypress. ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1363715669.473070.jpg

im interested, its beautiful. however what are the temp requirements? mines pretty ambient to the outside air which was part of my reasoning for choosing channel cats. right now i'd peg my temp at a low 65-70

i wanna see this thing setup! sounds lika its going to be really cool

thanks for the suggestion, what ive just read seems like it would be perfect! never came across that one yet, however i havent had much experience with plants & aquarium plants

Try Home Depot in the garden section they are commonly sold as gold ivy. I think they might be out of season thou.
