Well the aggression has started between the two biggest VATF. Looks like I'll be adding more dithers.

What type of dithers would you guys recommend? I currently have 3 geos. I've had tinfoil barbs in the past and I don't want them again because they grow too fast and eat too much lol, I don't really want silver dollars either.

P bass are bad dithers. Been there done that. They out compete the ATF for food and out grow them. Silvers D's are good because they are wide and create somewhat of barriers between fish. I still think Tin Foils are the best because they eat anything, can take a beating and keep ticking and the best of all they will eat all the scraps of food bits and keep things clean.

What about mono sebae or mono argentus? Have you ever tried those? They look nice and are wide enough not to get eaten.

I had luck with cigar barb as dithers for a Jar. Once they get thick, they are resilient.

I think those are SDs? Quite expensive too right? I don't think the SD's clean up as well as Tin Foils. They don't like to eat off the bottom.

Sebaes might work, Argys need salt.

Would be an interesting endeavor. Not sure if Sebaes can handle pure fresh long term though.....

I've got 2 Vatf living together now (after having to separate in the past) with a group of 7 Odoe.
