Hmmm, keeping a duck as a pet in the suburbs, it's strange...especially when you grew up near the city. But it was certainly a fun experience, if you guys want I can post the thread of her growing up. I started out with 10 eggs saved from a duck nest being attacked. Well, only 2 hatched. 1 died after 2 weeks. But Sunny made it through. She's almost 8 months old now. But she only weighs about 5 pounds I think, either that or my scale is broke. Pekins (white ducks) usually weigh around 10-12 though. Or she could just be a small duck. Anyways, I'd compare her personality to a small dog. Maybe even more loyal. I take her for walks all the time. She'll follow and never goes out of sight. If she can't see me, she squaks. She's fine towards other people. But a little skittish. I love her though. ^_^

yes please make a thread of he growing up! :headbang2
