wow i quess it could be possible ..but i cannot amagine the ornate continually going for the midas. put every fish is different.. i hope midas is doing okay

Personaly i think it might have been the pleco eating the slime coat off your midas and the midas was hiding from the pleco.

But either way, im glad he's getting better! Maybe grow him out a little more before you put him back in there?

Guess it's possible but he's not the smallest or most shy fish in the tank. He's now about 4" and has been in since about 1.5". Ornate is new addition and seems to be constantly hungry. Just have to wait and see.

I totally agree,some Pleco's can be bastards.

Thanks. Funny thing is I have another one that is smaller. That is what has me confused. I guess he just pushed his luck.
