Does it grow as slow as a regular loach?

according to the local people, they can get to 3 pounds and sexual maturity in 6 years., the first few years of growth is fast, reaching 8-9" probably in just over a year, that's what they say, actual results of course may vary.

Hey Wayne,

You and I go way way back, and the closest I got to the 24" manueli was that one time about 8 years ago. Those fish are out there still, you see fisherman pull up 20 plus inch mannies all the time Good to see you here!
