I don't know whether to remove the male and leave the females alone to have thier fry... or just give them more hiding places and hope for the best.. the male was able to breed two females the other one seems to be giving him a chase... and then occasionally he will chase the two that are holding..since i do not want them getting stressed out or injured i think i will take him out again... then i was thinking of putting him in my 125gal with lots of other mixed africans males and female.. mostly venustus... with one big male venustus.. if i do this i will have to watch that the male venustus does not go after him... the male venustus seems to be pretty good about leaving everyone alone... but another handsome looking blue face he may not like... what do you think?Heres a couple of pics... of 2 holding red fins and male ....

congrats and your male is very nice. hope mine turns out as good as yours.
thanks ,...yours will.... good food and plenty of water changes... :D

What do you feed yours? right now mine gets nls, hikari cichlid gold, and market shrimp but always looking to add something for variety.

as a treat frozen blood worms.. krill...... also zucchini slices .. otherwise the same as you..hikari sinking pellets as staple... i do give them shrimp once in awhile too..

great news!! my male is trying soooooo hard but the females although plump and looking ready are still swimming away from him :( I think you should be fine moving him, they can definitely hold there own!
there is not a single male in my tank that picks on my male red fin and I have at least 7 dominant males in there he is such a beauty too but he is untouched I guess they are in a class of there own! good luck with it! are there any other fish gonna be in with the females?

That male is beautiful!!!!
