thanks... i definitly made the right choice moving him.. he never really did anything to them but chase... i actually still have one concern... theres number three female in with the two holding females... number three females occasionally chases the holding female.. should she come out to? I am also worried about her eating their fry.. she could not get bred for some reason.. and acts jealous that they are holding... i know it sounds silly but this is what i have observed... she could be a hazard.... but then theres also risk of catching her and upsetting the others in the process... what to do what to do...NotoriousSway;3079712; said:I have a "short-body" male that really beats up the female after they breed I have had to take him out the past two times they have bred because I was worried about the female spitting. Last time I put them together they had been away from each other for about two months and they were breeding in less than five minutes after I had put them back in the same tank. So I think you mad the right choice in separating them, I hope all goes well.
By the way how did those babies turn out??
