Do you mean the sp 44 fry? if so they are doing great they are in a 30 gal grow out with 90+ ob peacock fry the same size they are all growing nicely but never fast enough for my liking
great... pics when they get a little bigger... red fins don't grow fast either.. i am spoiled by venustus... :D

if he continues to harass the holding females, go ahead and move him. They will breed again shortly after. I would keep the male out for a month since they breed, maybe another 2 weeks after. This way they can get back together in time for round two.

Thanks Mike..with all the babies i have coming with two females... and possibly the third ... i think i will leave him separated for about 6 months.. to give them all a rest..and time to grow out the babies... before i start again..this is going to be alot of babies if they do okay..tonight i am moving him out...

I am sure when people hear in your area that you have them, they will fly out the door when big enough.
i hope so... i had no trouble selling the venutus... so maybe your right.

Great fish! I have 2 pairs in my 50 breeder and they get along great.
thank you... yes everything is going amazing smooth... i cannot wait to see the babies:D

I have a "short-body" male that really beats up the female after they breed I have had to take him out the past two times they have bred because I was worried about the female spitting. Last time I put them together they had been away from each other for about two months and they were breeding in less than five minutes after I had put them back in the same tank. So I think you mad the right choice in separating them, I hope all goes well.
