If you do keep a journal, which would be interesting, be sure to call it by the real name every once in a while - Buettikoferi.
It's the only bichir that poly peeps regularly call by the common name (gold dust) I think because it's hard to spell and shorten the Buettikoferi name like the others. A few of us jokingly call them Butts now. LOL Unfortunately they must be named after a guy who identified them. Ha
