Most likely cats as their piss smells even worse than dogs... Honestly, it covers everything, even when cats havent been in a house for a few years. I have friends who have a smelly house due to them having cats do whatever they want. That is the reason I will never keep cats.

yah i have a cat and a dog, my cat is very sick by the way shes 16 years old!! however i really think its caused by my tank. one theory i have is my carpet might be the culprit since i do spill little bit of water when i feed my rays floaty foods.

Get a room deodorizer to freshing up the room. You probably do not smell anything because you are use to the smell.
Or your friend did something and did not wash his hand and then touch his nose, thereby smelling the foul oder!
ur right about me not noticing the smell. the guy who mentioned it, i barely know soooo who knows... and i always keep my door closed so my cat and dog don't come in.
