Thank you Victor, it was just what I needed to hear. I have set my goal high with breeding them but I'm not expecting to be able to do it within a year. I'll have my whole life to breed them :)

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I started this thread in May 2017. I've been killing fish en mass since 2008.

You are not alone brother. And passion is good but only if it is in good measure and it is constructive. If it's too much, it becomes destructive. No good. No one needs that. We need balance and patience. If I broke something for every fish I lost, there'd be nothing intact in our household for years and my wife would have either left me or broken me too.

Had one of these cats around three years ago and from day knelt just refused to eat at all. Lasted less than two weeks. When I went back to the shop they had also lost the other two ( but it took some finding out from the part time assistant). Again, couldn't get them to feed but more they just didn't take to tank life.
some do, some dont, but it's great when some of us get good results !!!!!

Pics after a water change. Only time they come out from lodging themselves in plants. Not much growth at all. Very slow growers.
