Sorry I have not been able to comment.
Those are great pictures, and you have beautiful fish... a whole bunch of them.

- Those that show the RED, elongated spot, next to a smallish Black spot are what I consider Metynnis lippincotianus, same of some I posted on the other silver dollar thread going on right now. They have comparative LARGE spotting all over the body.
- Those high body (tall) fish with no spotting or clearly visible black humeral spots, are what I consider M. hypsauchen.

Excellent group and tank!
Thank you.

Couple update pictures. I picked up some 1/2 aluminum electrical conduit and borrowed a pipe bender from HD. The stub is 19in and the tail is 48in. I will hang the light from the two supports but need to brainstorm how.

I also added 50lbs each of Cemex Lapis Lustre and ozark brown to combat the brown algae. I rinsed the both and made sure to turn off both filters before adding.

When you have plant eating fish but have the need to plant every tank. A 10g with a broken bottom becomes an intake greenhouse.
Robbed some bronze wendetii crypt, dwarf sag, and rotalla from several different tanks through pruning. The crypts were one mother plant that divided into 4.

Thanks, I plan to remove the tank once the plants are established. There is no bottom to the tank so it won't disturb the plants when removed. I am even thinking about trying to trap some of the cories in there to see if they would spawn.
