I would like to add Metynnis Fasciatus once the 220g is up and running.

Hardscape additions: REALLY HEAVY rocks

Also keep in mind if you have an inch or so of substrate between the rock and your egg crate or pvc safety barrier, plus more substrate cradling the entire bottom of the rock your actually distributing the weight through the entire surrounding substrate bed. Not one single point on the glass.

Filled the 220g. Seeded the aquarium with dirty filter muck and added the filter media I waiting in the 90g. Not the light I’m going to use but it was handy.

I have ordered 12 bunches of Jungle Val and a 72in Beamswork LED. Plants should be here tomorrow and the light no later than Tuesday next week. I also added two Dianema urostriatum , Flagtail porthole cats. I was considering a dither fish but with how active the SD are I'm not going to add any little fish. I will be adding 5 Bronze cory later this week.

Be cautious with SDs and plants. My old SDs destroyed my old jungle val.

It is in mind. Now that the SD are no longer in the 90g I will also be planting some JV in there as well.
Did you have any plants the SD didn't munch?

No. Unfortunately had a little of easy growing plants and were all eaten.

I've tried Anubius and Java moss and fern. They are all considered buffets by the SD so far too.

Have you tried duckweed, hornwort, jungle val or java moss with the SDs?
