My snakehead had become illegal!!!

I would keep the snakehead to yourself.
 
Just out of curiosity one of the guys at one of the pet shops i went to said my fish can fall under the "grandfather clause", which basically somehow means that because i bought it before the ban Im ok. Now im not saying this is true, its just advice somebody had given me

If it were me, I'd clean my account bio and stop talking about having a snakehead. Fish and wildlife browse the forums and you just paint a target on you.
Appreciate the fish for what it is and just keep it to yourself :)

This is partly true, because you had the fish long before the ban, you may be safe from any penalty you would have normally received. Although, you would still have to "dispose" of your snakehead by law.
