Well, a final update on these goldfish...I ended up taking them in to my LFS. None of the places around here wanted them and I needed to clear the tank out for my poly. At the store, the guy told me that they would definitely sell the larger one as a pond fish (it was almost 5”) and then he would try to sell the smaller one (about 3”) as a pond fish but wasn’t sure if it would end up happening.
I’m a little sad to see them go but they were never meant to be permanent fish for me. So, this is it for these guys from me.
