have you been keeping his tank salty and doing alot of WCs? his tail looks now about like my fh that you saw the pic of. well after all the fungus went away. if it is going to grow back, you should start to see some growth in a week or two. i was shocked when mine started getting her tail back. i felt like crap because i put the JD in with her trying to get them to pair up. she doesn't have any pearls, but has good color and great personality. jd are one of my favorite pure bred fish so i thought that it would be great to have an fh with dempsey pearls. all i got was a half dead fh with all her fins chewed off.

haha yeah i have her tank is clean and healthy lol.put no tail just yet haha

Good luck bro but I dont think the tail will ever grow back after it has been chewed off to the base, I would be very suprised if it did.

HA!! I was wondering if he could grow it back! Great update.

that is great! i thought it would come back. my fh looked worse than that. she has a flower on her tail. that one was gone. it was bit off. then it got fungus all the way to the next flower. fh are super tough fish. i was SO close to killing her.
you did a good job. it does take a lot of work to keep fungus from growing or to get rid of it. he may end up with a scar where the scales came off. my girl has a scar. but it isn't that noticeable.
