so I was busy at my till doing something and gets this sense that I should really look up, you know the feeling you get when someone is eyeing you up and trying to catch your attention but they are not saying anything? Well it was a moment like that and bam out came the camera

anyone who loves kids knows this feeling from behind the camera

today as I was thinking of a treasure moment these pictures came to mind of last summer

yes nature is a grand thing

so yesterday I sent my wife to get some feeders and drop them in my gar and knife tank at home. so I am sitting here yesterday evening selling coffee and stuff to the students doin their finals and stuff when this totally vibrating excited little girl comes up to my counter and presents me with a photo op.

since her two sisters have made their own mfk accts and have their own monster fish she has been hot to trott to get a fish of her own. So now I have a goldfish in one of my tanks, How can you say no to a request like this. The one she bought three nights ago came to our house and the only fresh tank I have at home is my gar knife tank, and she was sure that her pet fish goldie would be there in the morning so dad could take it to the restaurant to go in a tank here, welllllll dinner was served and goldie went bye bye

Now I know some people will think the picture I am about to post is cruel its just to funny so I gotta post it.

I call it the late night fish keepers look. just a perfect picture for say a future wedding ribbing HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

haha..so sweet she is ... with her new pet gold fish... she is a beautiful little girl... i don't know if your children get their good looks from mom or dad but the combination of you both is vivid in them.... keep those pics coming.

well so my cute daughter thought it would be even cuter to get the whole clan in on this next move, what do you get when you get an enthusiastic 6 year old with 3 bucks to spend in the fish dept of petsmart?

answer

a feeder goldfish rebellion taking over my 45g corner buffalo head tank

but what can a dad do inside im like but on the outside im like inside because I have 2 buffalo head there in the sand an no other tank to put them in so I have to let them live with these feeders outside because how can you resist this (take note that krazy4country my daughter josepha is absent from the hostile feeder take over hahahahahhaha)

and here is a prof an his daughter who were in earlier in the day and she picked the feeder goldfish as her fav of all cause it reminded her of her golfball goldfish at home

so there is only one solution to the dilemma

POWER UP MY EMPTY 180G THAT IS SITTING AGAINST THE BACK WALL AND POWER UP MY 168G TALL AND GO GET MY 10 FOOT 300G AND MY 8 FOOT 420G AND KNOCK THIS PLACE INTO ORBIT

so last friday I got a phone call from a school that wanted to bring a class down to have a look at the tanks and take some time to have a ? and answer with me. it is a school located in what is called the reservation area of our city its run by a church called morningstar ministries so its sort of a private school. The kids had a blast here are the pics

during the ? session it seems about 7 of them have tanks and they wanted to know how to make their fish look like mine lololol should be interesting to see the emails I get

so have a few more to put on here but the first one comes from the museum where I am redoing their display tank. I was doing some work on the tank midday and there was a couple of moms there with their kids, the litttle guy kept saying mommy look at the big fish. I especially love the looks on the moms faces and the little cutie pie girl such a killer pic. This to me is the pinnacle of what it means to be a fish keeper to bring about enjoyment in the lives of others and somewhat make their day better.

Today at lunch time this couple came in with thier little girl

of all the tanks here she was enthralled with the johani tank

and then later my cook an I were talking about the blues brothers and a guy comes up wearing this shirt not 3 minutes later

yes the day is complete now lolol

so it has begun, it started with my daughter josepha being curious as to what dad was doing on the computer. then it turned to the gaggle of kids coming to watch over my shoulder as I spent time on the fish forums with them being blown away by the variety of types of set ups and fish. then it turned to josepha and christianna making their accts on ac and mfk. then it turned to my two oldest wanting their own fish so that they would ahve something to take care of and add to the fish keeping community.

So I gave my josepha my 70g with my red devil, then I gave my biggest pacu to christianna. Yet I had to tell my other kids that they have to wait till they can type to make their own accts on fish forum, but they are all wanting their own fish and their own tanks now.

Last night I got this shot of my son caleb deciding which tank he is going to take, he was telling my wife how much he loved this tank.

he picked a good tank to love because this is what is growin in this tank his future monster

and my girls dont realize how fast a camera is
