Well, when I had set up my tank the last thing I had intended was to breed any of my fish.
It looks like both these two have paired up and are getting busy...
Why do I say this... well when I shot this video I noticed the female holding eggs in her mouth. If you watch the video you can see for yourself.

At first I thought she may have just eaten something and holding in her mouth. But when I watched closer as her mouth extends you can see the eggs tumbling around inside her mouth. In short I don't know what happened a few days after since they are gone, most likely eaten? Anyways, her belly is fat again and the tubes are down? this time I'm paying attention. In addition, it looks as the mate she chose is my Geo that's described to be a BrachyBranchus (sp).
They both selected the left side of the tank to clear things out as it appears they are planning the breeding grounds. Nothing can get close as the big Brachy male chases everyone else out but let's the Altifron female in. They both end up chasing anyone else who comes near.
Anyways, has anyone else experienced cross breeding with Geo's? Is this a taboo topic where people are against this type of cross breeding? Being I'm new to Geo's don't know what the politics are that's behind geophagus keeping.
In addition to this, my Discus are showing signs of breeding as well. Or at least the courting behavior.
