I just cannot get used to mixing garbage can loads of saltwater everytime I do a water change.........I have large tanks, and when I do water changes, it's IN AN OUT...........

Yep, my issue also. I used to have 100 gal reef and pred tanks, as well as a smaller nano. Way too much work when combined with my other freshwater tanks.

I breed in mine.

I hope you mean fish, because otherwise that's worse the a VW Beetle :D

I have one. I keep 12 white cloud mountain, small driftwood and plants like moss ball & java fern bcos these don't require CO2. Interesting, the water is always crystal clear and the water chemistry is easy to maintain. It's great to have a small tank for a change.

If scientist can genectically engineer monster fish like bichirs and gars into mini-size, then im diggin' it

You'd be surprised how aggressive some little fish can be. My Apistogramma nijsseni are the most aggressive fish I own!

And what about Polypterus mokelembembe? Pretty small...

^ :iagree:

My gold occies attack my hands during tank maintenance and they are only about an 1.5" long.

I like nano tanks but they wont replace the big ones

we made a 12L nano stocked with RCS which we use as a night light for my niece. was a fun little project and easy to maintain
