"Nature Aquarium" Riparium in 15-gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think it might be tough to keep most riparium plants with mossy frogs. Those things get to 3" long and they would knock over stuff like that Cyperus. There are some larger sturdier riparium plants that would probably do alright.

Ripariums are really best for displaying fish and plants.

Hmm, alright. You've got more experience with rips than I do so I'll look into sturdier plants.
Would any of the Taro species work?

Yes, some of the dwarf taros might be strong enough. A sturdy peace lily would probably be alright too. Still, a three-inch frog is going to be pretty heavy.

Here is one additional shot of the 15-gallon.

I got the fish in there last night. I think that my selections go pretty well with the hardscape and plants. I hope to come back soon with a picture of them.

SWEET!!!

I'll look into it, thanks for the advice.
I appreciate it.

Do you have any idea how long you think it'll take to fill in?

Very neat setup! I hadn't heard of ripariums before. It makes me want to turn one of my 10 gallons into one :)
