I expect that fish to turn light tint pink and that's about it. If you want a red fish, Red Tex may be ideal(the real super red tex will break you an arm and leg - seriously). But a Super Red ZZ or a Red Kamalau will be darker in red color than most red tex out there. Most of the red tex out there is either bright pink or bright orange only. I prefer a flowerhorn that is hot pink in color IMO. I really dig hot pink color flowerhorn.

Ive not seen the hot pink. Ill keep looking...
