If you spot any kind of disease on him let me know please, he seems healthy enough. His fins look not - so - great hard to tell if they are healing, ive only had him for a day now.

If he's laying on the bottom it could be the beginning of Hexamita so I'd feed him some anti-parasetic medicated food and do alot of water changes before he bloats up and get's the bloat and if that happen's it will be too late.

I really don't think it's that, also when I turn the lights off he swims around being super aggressive

Oh and he's not laying down, he's swimming along the lower levels

It sound's like he's starting to do well so "steady as she goes" I say.

they hang down often... they require less light to be active....how they hunt

Yeah I recall reading that, I might turn the lights off for a few days

although he dose get active at night fighting his own reflection

oh... and ... before... I ... forget... thank... you... very ... much...
LoL, I'm just messing with ya

I have fronts and i find mine like a cave and some rockwork. I arrange it so there are open areas of sand along the whole front of the tank and have the rockpiles/caves in the back of the tank (three seperate piles).

You might want to try to start feeding the fish sinking pellets and floating pellets. I feed the haps (blue dolphin, red empress and one brichardi) floating pellets on the surface and the fronts get sinking pellets at the same time i put in the floating ones. The haps were running around in a feeding frenzy and my fronts were in danger of not getting enough food. Now the haps run around crazy and the fronts get the sinking ones on the bottom of the tank. Everybody happy and full .

I think the fins are just shredded from other fish, give it a couple days and clean water conditions and you should see rapid fin repair, if not then begin treatment with the meds you like for fin rot. I like melafix myself.
