I might pick up this plec tomorrow. Is it a royal panaque as this person says? i just needed someone to correctly i.d this plec.

ok...well the plec came in today...he is absolutely stunning!!! he is too big for me to pick up! then again my hands are tiny lol. but the guy who came to drop him off was incredibly caring towards him and when he held his palm out in the plec's box, it swam into his hand!!! truly amazing plec, it looks absolutely healthy the guy showed me his tummy and everything.. pics coming up later! the plec is actually already out and about - its only been two minutes i've put him in

zeroj - over here its practically unheard of to get plecs with whiskers. they chop them off...cant remember y.

Females have been shown to develop odontodes, although I dont know how large, so its not a clear cut decision.

zeroj - over here its practically unheard of to get plecs with whiskers. they chop them off...cant remember y.

When exported I think its common for them to be cut off so they dont puncture the bags they are in. But after they are in the country they should start growing back. Check my avatar for the odontodes on my L190.
