Need help. Any classic mustang lovers out there?

Try to get the plate#. that will also give you an idea of what's goin on. Mabe it's off the computer, I think it would be better if it was on the computer, but the plate # helped me out alot. From his answer he gave you about the vin, I would be VERY CAUTIOUS! Why couldn't he just go outside and look at the vin? If you decide to go for it, just cover your arse the best you can, bill of sale, as much info on the seller you can get, etc... Oh yea, I figured out the unicorn thing out right after I submitted the reply. Its just in a world of Cudas, Stingrays, and such I thought I missed Ford's unicorn! Ha Ha Ha !! J/K ..I'll probably by my first Ford this year, I want a 67-8 Fastback or 69/70 .. I'm planning to win the lottery

Go with it if you havent done otherwise. You could stroke that 302 to 317,331, or 347. 347 with a good set of heads and springs and valve seats that can handle a .526+lift cam you can make 400+ rwhp. keep it 9:1.1 and hit it with a 100-150 shot with forged internals(rods pistons i.e). that 9" can handle 500+ hp.
damn it feels good to actually hear someone take the words right out of my mouth

He just sent me this.

you don't need the last numbers, since these are only sequence numbers, and there are no liens on the car
let me know
thanks

lol what? thats makes nno sense why wouldnt you need the last numbers.... cam i would take a very smart ford knowledged mechanic and just go see in person, cause he can tell you all the things in the world but i mean dont forget peole also o boost there cars rep to get it sold faster..

He says the car is near Miami (See quote below)...So it's not like I could just drive over and look under the hood. I'm just not feeling this whole thing..It shouldn't be this hard, ya know?

listen, my friend used a mechanic that can put a mechanics lien on the car, and you can get the title in 30 days, there is also a company called Broadway Title that gets titles for old cars, also either 30 or 45 days. Both cost about 300 or 400.. The car is near Miami now, my friends son can bring it over this weekend for you. If you decide to do this, I will sell the car to you for 2100, therefore the title would only be about 100, since I was asking 2300, and the car is worth every bit of that.
again, if you are serious, let me know, and this can be done this weekend
thanks

I just emailed him this

I understand...But I am not buying that car until I have the VIN number.
I Have to look up the history of the car...

How do I know it's not stolen or been totaled at one point? Then how am I suppose to register/insure it? Ya get me?
So please can I have the numbers?

Or would you prefer me to drive down to miami or him drive it up here so I can look at it? Then I could get the numbers myself.
Either way I need those numbers.

let me know..

Don't jump the gun man, all the horsepower in the world is great, but havin to give it back would really suck, find the plate # and issuing state , see what you find out from there

there's a reason why he's not giving you the vin, think you should wait it out for a more solid deal. anybody with nothing to hide would give you the full vin no Q's asked.
